Mohammed Abu Saleh is an International Trade and Development Lawyer. He is currently serving as a Consultant with the World Bank’s trade facilitation project in Bangladesh. He is also an Assistant Professor of Law (on leave) at Daffodil International University. He previously worked as a Legal Officer with the WTO Secretariat, Geneva (2021-2024). He has consistently striven to advance international economic rules and policies to foster a more balanced, inclusive and sustainable global economic order. His recent research works have been featured in the Journal of World Trade, the Harvard International Law Journal and Oxford University Press publications.

Md. Salman Sohel is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Development Studies at Daffodil International University (DIU), Bangladesh. His academic and research interests lie at the intersection of health policy and systems, climate change and public health, climate-health governance, health equity, migration and health, urban environmental migrants, and sustainable development. Through his interdisciplinary work, he seeks to connect development studies with public health and policy-oriented research to address emerging social and health challenges in the Global South.

He Has Master degree in Public Health from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom, and Master in Public Policy from Hohai University, China. This academic background has shaped his expertise in public health, governance, development policy, and climate-health issues. His research particularly focuses on how social, environmental, and policy factors influence health outcomes among vulnerable and marginalized populations.

Md. Salman Sohel has published over 55 Scopus-indexed articles, including many in Q1 and Q2 journals. His scholarly contributions cover diverse areas such as health systems, climate change and public health, migration, health equity, urban vulnerability, environmental governance, and sustainable development. He has also worked with national and international research networks, contributing to collaborative research, policy-focused studies, and academic knowledge production.

Alongside teaching and research, he serves as Executive Editor of the Journal of Emerging Global Health. He is also an Editorial Board Member of BMC Public Health and Discover Global Society under Springer Nature. These editorial roles reflect his active engagement in academic publishing, research quality improvement, and global scholarly collaboration.

He is the founder of HAPPY CO-LAB, a research initiative focusing on health, adaptation, preparedness, policy, and climate-resilient health systems. Through this initiative, he aims to promote interdisciplinary research, build research capacity, and generate evidence for climate-resilient and equity-oriented health policy. His broader academic vision is to contribute to global debates on climate change, health systems, migration, and sustainable development, particularly from the perspective of Bangladesh and the wider Global South.

Md. Tarek Adnan is a registered pharmacist under the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council. He holds a Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacology from Noakhali Science & Technology University, Bangladesh. He currently serves as Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance, at Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd., one of Bangladesh’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturers with extensive international regulatory compliance requirements, including US FDA standards.

He is currently working in the pharmaceutical industry with experience in Quality Assurance within a GMP-regulated environment. His professional expertise includes oversight of Change Control management, deviation and investigation handling, market complaint assessment, and comprehensive review of batch manufacturing and analytical documentation for product release. His responsibilities are aligned with international regulatory requirements including cGMP, US FDA, WHO, and other global regulatory standards. He is also involved in Annual Product Quality Review (APQR) preparation and regulatory compliance documentation supporting inspection readiness and quality system integrity.

Alongside his industrial role, he has a strong academic and research background in pharmaceutical sciences. His postgraduate research focused on clinical evaluation of serum antioxidants, macrominerals, and trace elements in obese patient populations in Bangladesh through a controlled case-study design. His undergraduate research involved phytochemical and pharmacological evaluation of medicinal plant extracts, emphasizing bioactivity screening and natural product pharmacology. He has published multiple peer-reviewed scientific articles in international journals covering pharmacology, phytochemistry, inflammation, antioxidant activity, and metabolic disorders.

His combined expertise in regulated pharmaceutical quality systems and applied biomedical research provides a structured analytical foundation for evidence-based evaluation and scientific interpretation. He maintains a professional interest in research activities with interdisciplinary relevance, including public policy, health systems, and socio-political analysis within independent research platforms.

Imtiaz Ahmed Sajal is serving as an Assistant professor of Law at Dhaka International University. Previously he served as a Lecturer in Law at Uttara University and Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology from January 2019 to January 2024. He completed his LLB (Hons) from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and 1st LLM in International Law from South Asian University (New Delhi, India) with distinction as an awardee of President’s Scholarship. Sajal completed second LLM in Intellectual Property Law which is jointly organized by Ankara University and World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) with WIPO scholarship. Moreover, Sajal has also completed two PGD programs in International Environmental Law; and in Human Rights, International Humanitarian and Refugee Law from the Indian Academy of International Law and Diplomacy, ISIL, New Delhi.

Sajal authored 8 articles, 4 book chapters and 4 book reviews in various peer reviewed journals; and presented 12 papers in different international conferences on Environment, Climate Change, human rights, intellectual property rights and foreign investment related issues. Moreover, Sajal contributed more than 60 newspaper and magazine articles on contemporary issues of environment, human rights, adjudication system and legal reforms. Besides these, he attended 5 international summer and winter programmes on international law and intellectual property law in The Netherlands, South Korea, China and India with merit-based scholarships. Sajal is a member of several international academic networks like IUCN-WCEL, ILAW Network, IPIRA Network.

During his teaching career, Sajal organized and moderated conference, seminars, workshops and training programmes for law students of Bangladesh. Sajal worked as coach and adjudicator of moot court competitions. Moreover, he worked as a human rights and environment activist, mentor, translator and interpreter.

Sajal worked as a consultant in many projects, notably with Solidarity Center, Clean Clothes Campaign, Amnesty International, Business and Human Rights Resource Centre (BHRRC) and Public Eye. Moreover, Sajal worked as a research assistant in the research projects of ILO, WINROCK, Asian Development Bank and Oxfam International.
